If I Were The Governor...

I would throw a huge party at the earliest opportunity - the credit policy is as good as any - to celebrate the fact that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is one of the leading central banks in the world.
While this fact is well acknowledged within the quiet corridors of international central bankmanship, I believe that most people in India see RBI as a painful, bureaucratic institution, to be avoided unless absolutely necessary.
It is time to acknowledge the unheralded creativity and hard work that has been behind our several accomplishments. To do this, I would like to organise a multi-media multi-site mega-event.

Art and design - We are commissioning a team of architects to sustainably develop our headquarters in Mumbai so that its structure reflects our achievements. Since architectural work does lead to some dislocation of operations, this assignment will be implemented every two years.
Currently, the team is working on a design to reflect RBI
