Multiple Plrs To Go

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in its credit policy today said that the system of tenor-linked prime lending rates (PLRs) may be discontinued.

In recent times, banks have come out with multiple tenure-linked PLRs with the effect that customers were finding it difficult to compare interest rates.
