Muthoot Capital net rises 7% to Rs 1.29 cr

Muthoot Capital Services registered a 7 per cent growth in its third quarter net profit to Rs 1.29 crore from Rs 1.21 crore in the year-ago period. The profit before tax also recorded an increase of 7 per cent from Rs 1.83 crore to Rs 1.96 crore.

For the nine months ended December 31, 2008, the firm’s total income rose to Rs 12.50 crore as against Rs 8.59 crore, a growth of 45 per cent.
