SBBJ net rises 36% to Rs 179.37 crore

State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur (SBBJ) on Monday said that its net profit rose 36.20 per cent to Rs 179.37 crore during April-September this year, compared with Rs 131.69 crore during the first half of 2008-09.

The bank's interest income went up 16.54 per cent to Rs 540.59 crore during the period.
