SBT launches cash back offer on debit cards

Thiruvananthapuram-headquartered State Bank of Travancore (SBT) will launch a 'Cash Back Plus Offer' to its debit card holders across the country on August 1 (tomorrow).

The offer, which will continue till October 31, will allow customers using their debit cards for making payments for Rs 501 or above to get cash back up to a maximum of 5 per cent.

The maximum amount of cash back during the period of offer will be Rs 1,000 per debit card, a bank statement said.

In addition, card holders who use their card for shopping of Rs 501 or more for more than 15 times during the period will also earn 20 per cent of the cash back as bonus.

Besides, the first two highest spenders will get two return Air Deccan tickets each free, every day.

The amount of 'Cash Back' will be credited to customer's account automatically in 4-6 weeks after the period of offer, it said.
