In-store shopping saw a slowdown due to the pandemic, but change is around the corner. And the ubiquitous point-of-sale (PoS) machine will be back in focus. The Paris-headquartered Worldline acquired Ingenico in a $8.6-billion deal in October last year, making it Europe’s largest (and the world’s fourth-biggest) merchant acquirer and payment processor.
