Union Bank Q3 net up 12% at Rs 256cr

Union Bank of India today reported a 12% increase in net profit at Rs 255.84 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 when compared with Rs 229.08 crore in Q3FY06.

According to a release issued to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 2,054.44 crore from Rs 1,652.50 crore in Q3FY06.
