Appointments in Central Information Commission
Shri Vijai Sharma (Indian Administrative Service:1974), Information Commissioner in the Central Information Commission, New Delhi, has been appointed as the Chief Information Commissioner. Shri Sudhir Bhargava (Indian Administrative Service:1979), retired Secretary, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, has been appointed as the Information Commissioner in the Central Information Commission, New Delhi.
The above appointments have been made for a term of five years from the date(s) on which they enter upon their office(s) or till they attain the age of sixty five years, whichever is earlier.
