Creation of CTCR and CIS Divisions in MHA
Two new divisions, Counter Terrorism and Counter Radicalisation Division and the Cyber and Information Security Division, have been created in the Ministry of Home affairs on 13.11.2017 so as to give focused attention to the issues relating to terrorism, counter radicalization, cyber security, cyber crime and information security etc. At present, there are 20 Divisions in the Ministry of Home Affairs.
This was stated by the Minister of State for Home Affairs, Shri Kiren Rijiju in a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha today.
