Four Laning of Rampur Kathgodam Section of NH-87
The National Highway No. 87 (Old) extends from Rampur in Uttar Pradesh to Jeolikot in Uttarakhand and further through NH 87E up to Karanprayag via Ranikhet. The Rampur - Kathgodam section of this highway is under implementation for 4-laning by NHAI.
The Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the development of the said stretch from existing single or intermediate lane to 2-lane with or without paved shoulder has been undertaken.
This information was given by Minster of State for Road Transport and Highways and Shipping, Shri Mansukh L. Mandaviya in a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha today.
