The book that inspired me

Choosing the book that inspired me is tough. It would be a toss-up between The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari, Tuesdays with Morrie, and Many Lives, Many Masters. But since the last is the one I have read most recently, I shall go with it.

This bestseller by Brian Weiss is the true story of a leading American psychiatrist and his "supernatural" experiences with a patient.

The fascinating experiences changed the course of the lives of both, and Weiss chose to share the same with a broader audience to help individuals understand that there is a reason for everything and that there is a correlation between our present behaviour and past life experiences.

This book inspires us to go beyond superficialities and seek longer lasting happiness through learning the right lessons from the many experiences that life has to offer.

As a believer in Karma, this book served to reinforce that concept for me and link reactions to past actions. It's an intriguing piece of writing that makes you think for a long time after you have put it down.
