Ashok Leyland up 2% on Nov sales jump

Ashok Leyland advanced 2% at Rs. 25.50 on BSE after the company's domestic vehicle sales zoomed 67% in November 2011.

The company's domestic sales rose 66.72% to 6,477 units in November 2011 as against 3,885 units in the same month of the previous year.

Exports increased 11.90% to 1,401 units last month from 1,252 units in the year-ago period.

In intra-day deals, the stock opened at Rs 25.50 and touched the high of Rs 25.75. The counter has seen trades around 271,018 shares so far on the BSE.
