Bhel up 3.3%; ITC slips 2.6%

The NSE Nifty has gained 26 points at 4,217.

BHEL has gained 3.3% to Rs 1,436.  TCS and Ranbaxy have advanced 2.4% to Rs 864 and Rs 541, respectively. Maruti is up 2.3% to Rs 694.  Bharti has moved up 2% to Rs 765, and ONGC and Reliance have gained 1.3% to Rs 885 and Rs 2,066, respectively.

Tata steel,  Ambuja Cements,  NTPC, RCom, HUL, Reliance Infra, Hindalco, HDFC Bank and ACC are the other gainers.

HDFC has plunged 4.2% to Rs 2,136. Tata Motors has shed 4% at Rs 460.

Infosys has tumbled 2.9% to Rs 1,696.  ITC has slipped 2.6% to Rs 184. Satyam has dropped 2.1% to Rs 441. 

 

Grasim, Jaiprakash Associates,Wipro, ICICI Bank, Cipla, DLF and SBI are the other losers.
