Cardamom gains 0.18%

Lower arrivals helped the gains

Cardamom futures gained for the third day and added Rs 1.80 to Rs 1,022.70 per kg today.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the January contract gained Rs 1.80, or 0.18% to Rs 1,022.70 per kg in 403 lots.

Similarly, the February contract edged up by Rs 1.30, or 0.12% to Rs 1065 per kg in 70 lots.

Analysts said speculators enlarging their positions driven by pick-up in spot market demand amid lower arrivals helped cardamom to extend gains.
