Cardamom weakens 1.05% as demand declines

Tight supply affected the trade

Cardamom January futures declined by Rs 10.70, or 1.05%, to Rs 1,001 per kg in 589 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the February contract traded lower by Rs 8.30, or 0.79%, to Rs 1,041 per kg in 371 lots.

Traders reducing their positions, weak spot market demand against tight supply affected cardamom futures trade.
