Commodity picks

Jeera
NCDEX Jeera prices in Unjha market is currently at Rs 15,212 a quintal. Prices are expected to continue to move lower tracking better sowing prospects and slack demand. We see prices moving towards Rs 15,000 a quintal in the next few sessions.

Chana
Higher import is likely to improve the supply scenario dramatically. While the off-take from the ports will remain slow due to the stock limits, we believe higher supplies will weigh on the prices. Chana, currently Rs 4,900 a quintal (NCDEX), could slide to Rs 4,800/4,700 levels.
