Digvijay Calls For Waiver Of Co-Op Banks & #8217; Npas

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh has called for waiver of the non-performing assets (NPAs) and long-standing overdues of cooperative banks to restore the health of the cooperative credit system. He has demanded that the cooperative banks should be treated at par with commercial banks.
Delivering the Ninth Vaikunth Bhai Memorial lecture on cooperation, organised by the National Cooperative Union of India, Singh said:
