Dr Reddy's ADR bounces back on Wed

Wednesday saw five of the twelve Indian ADRs end in the red, after Tuesday's positive run.

Dr Reddy's Laboratories, which was the highest loser down 6% on Tuesday, saw a turnaround yesterday, as it moved up almost 6% to close at $37.31. On Wednesday, Dr Reddy's was the top-gaining ADR.

Sterlite Industries at $15.85 gained 2%, while Tata communications added another percent since Tuesday to end up 2% at $11.19 yesterday. HDFC Bank closed at $166.78 up 2%.

ICICI Bank gained marginally, since Tuesday, at $50.49 up 0.5%. Genpact, too, ended up 0.5% at $15.22.

Infosys Technologies continued to move sideways, and ended yesterday's trading session at $74.20, up barely 0.2%.

Satyam Computer Services, which was the highest gainer on Tuesday, and had surged nearly 10% on its plan to re-list on the New York Stock Exchange, saw a reversal in fortunes, as it ended the day as the highest loser, down 1.3% at $2.95.

Patni Computer Systems, another substantial gainer on Tuesday (up 5%), lost 1% yesterday to close at $20.98.

MTNL and Wipro were both down marginally 0.4% at $2.40 and $15.22 respectively.

Tata Motors traded marginally in the negative at $30.64.
