Gold futures decline 0.24% on global cues

Speculators offloading their positions affected the trade

Gold futures for April declined by Rs 74, or 0.24% to Rs 30,788 per ten grams in 6,053 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the February contract lost Rs 67, or 0.22% to Rs 30,150 per ten grams in 8,698 lots.

Speculators offloading their positions affected the trade.

Weakening global markets trend as investors booked profits at current levels affected the gold futures trade here.

In London, gold went down 0.1% at $1,676.04 an ounce.
