Gur closes quiet amid thin trade

Steady trend persisted in the wholesale jaggery market at the national capital today following sporadic demand against sufficient stocks.

Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur market also settled on last levels in thin trade.

Market analysts said little buying support and sufficient stocks mainly kept prices unchanged. 

Following were today's quotations per quintal:

Chakku Rs 2,700-2,800, pedi Rs 2,900-3,000, Dhayya Rs 3,100-3,200, and Shakkar Rs 3,100-3,200
Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 2,200-2,300, chakku Rs 2,325-2,500 and Khurpa N.T
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,650-2,700 and Dhaya Rs NA
