Gur ends quiet in thin trade

Steady conditions depicted in the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market at the national capital today on small buying support.

Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur market also closed on a flat note in the absence of any worthwhile moving factors.  

Market analysts said small buying support and sufficient availability of stocks largely held prices unchanged. 

Following were today's quotations per quintal: 

Chakku Rs 2,750-2,850, pedi Rs 2,900-3,000, Dhayya Rs 3,100-3,200, and Shakkar Rs 3,100-3,200
Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 2,200-2,250, chakku Rs 2,325-2,500 and Khurpa N.T      Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,650-2,700 and Dhaya Rs NA
