Lead down 0.6% on sluggish demand
Prices fell as speculators offloaded positions

Lead futures for February declined by 75 paise, or 0.58% to Rs 129.55 per kg in 1,0970 lots.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the March contract traded lower by 65 paise, or 0.5% to Rs 130.05 per kg in 992 lots.
Prices fell as speculators offloaded positions on the back of sluggish demand from battery-makers in the spot market.
Weak trend in overseas market kept pressure on lead futures trade here.
On the London Metal Exchange (LME), lead declined 0.2% to $2,454 a metric tonne.
