Mentha oil extend gains, up 0.6% on strong demand

Lower arrivals from Chandausi pushed up mentha oil futures trade

Mentha oil futures for February edged higher by Rs 8.10, or 0.6%, to Rs 1,336.50 per kg in 200 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the January contract traded higher by Rs 7.50, or 0.56%, to Rs 1,323.40 per kg in 593 lots.

Fresh positions by traders due to good demand from industries supported the trade.

Pick-up in export and domestic demand, lower arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh pushed up mentha oil futures trade.
