Refined soya oil futures marginally up on spot demand

Refined soya oil prices rose by Rs 1.20 to Rs 643.45 per 10 kg today as speculators built up fresh positions, supported by a firming trend at the spot market on rising demand.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, refined soya oil prices gained Rs 1.20, or 0.19% to Rs 643.45 per 10 kg, with a business turnover of just two lots.

Traders said rising demand in the spot market, triggered by the ongoing marriage season mainly helped refined soya oil prices to trade higher at futures trade.
