The gainers were Reliance, up 0.82 per cent to $24.50 with volume of 50,179 GDRs and SBI, up 0.26 per cent to $39.10 with volume of 6,639 GDRs. The losers were Hindalco, down 1.12 per cent to $26.58 and Ranbaxy was down 0.30 per cent to $23.18.

The Instanex Skindia DR Index was up 0.17 per cent to 1169.62 on May 20, 2005 and was trading at a P/E of 18.58.

Among ISDI ADRs, 3 advanced and 5 lost ground on May 20, 2005.

The gainers were Infosys, up 1.10 per cent to $66.35, Satyam was up 0.89 per cent to $23.80 with volume of 238,900 ADRs and ICICI Bank was up 0.10 per cent to $19.92 with volume of 245,200 ADRs.

The major losers were MTNL, down 2.93 per cent to $6.30 with volume of 8,700 ADRs, VSNL was down 1.87 per cent to $9.42 with volume of 26,500 ADRs and Dr Reddy's was down 0.75 per cent to $15.85 with volume of 97,200 ADRs.
