Sensex rebounds, up 18pts; Tata Steel soars 7%

The Sensex has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up 18 points at 10,021.
Tata Steel has soared over 7% to Rs 219, and Hindalco has surged 4.5% to Rs 55.
Ranbaxy has rallied over 4% to Rs 165. Jaiprkash Associates has gained 3% at Rs 88.
SBI and Larsen & Toubro have moved up 2.5% each to Rs 1,121 and Rs 677, respectively.
Tata Motors and DLF have gained 2% each at Rs 176 and Rs 179, respectively.

ICICI Bank, Reliance Communications and ACC are up around 1.5% each at Rs 380, Rs 171 and Rs 568, respectively.
Infosys has plunged nearly 3% to Rs 1,340. HDFC has shed 2% at Rs 1,619.
Reliance Infrastructure has dropped 1.8% to Rs 554. Maruti has declined 1.5% to Rs 759.
Wipro, ITC and TCS are down around 1% each at Rs 251, Rs 183 and Rs 552, respectively.
The market breadth is positive - out of 2,384 stocks traded so far, 1,352 have advanced, 937 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
