Sensex recovers, down 45pts

The Sensex tumbled to low of 14,013, in the opening trades. The index has bounced back from the day's low and is now down 45 points at 14,146.

HDFC Bank has shed 1.6% to Rs 1,075. Hindalco and ACC have slipped around 1.4% each to Rs 147 and Rs 1,010, respectively.

ITC, BHEL and Infosys are down around 1% each at Rs 173, Rs 2,319 and Rs 2,325, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's has spurted 1% to Rs 732.
