Sensex recovers partially, down 45pts

| The Sensex has recovered some of its losses and is now down 45 points at 10,878. Reliance Energy has added 1.5% to Rs 461. Bajaj Auto and Dr.Reddy's have advanced 1.3% each to Rs 2,608 and Rs 1,426, respectively. Ranbaxy and HDFC are up over 1% each at Rs 396 and Rs 1,239, respectively. SBI has slipped 2.7% to Rs 808. HLL, Larsen & Toubro, Reliance, Cipla and ITC have declined over 2% each to Rs 220, Rs 2,224, Rs 967, Rs 228 and Rs 168, respectively. ICICI Bank and Tata Motors are down nearly 2% each to Rs 545 and Rs 756, respectively. Out of 2,503 stocks traded so far, 1,464 have declined, 964 have advanced and the rest are unchanged. |
