Sensex up 205pts; HDFC, Wipro up 3%

The NSE Nifty is up 66 points at 5,066.

Bharti Airtel has zoomed 6.7% to Rs 900. Reliance Communications has soared over 5% to Rs 560.

HDFC and Wipro have surged nearly 3% each to Rs 2,665 and Rs 462, respectively.

SBI and HDFC have rallied around 2% each to Rs 1,720 and Rs 1,474, respectively.

ICICI Bank has moved up 1.7% to Rs 892. NTPC and Satyam are up over 1% each at Rs 193 and Rs 444, respectively.

DLF has shed 2% at Rs 661. Jaiprakash Associates has declined 1.8% to Rs 242.

Out of 2,490 stocks traded so far, 1,261 have advanced, 1,163 have declined and 66 are unchanged.
