Sensex up 328pts; breadth fairly +ve

The Sensex is now up 328 points at 15,954.

The NSE Nifty is up 82 points at 4,822.

ICICI Bank and Jaiprakash Associates have zomed around 5% each to Rs 793 and Rs 236, respectively.

Infosys and HDFC have soared around 4% each to Rs 1,475 and Rs 2,460, respectively.

DLF and Wipro have rallied around 3% each to Rs 645 and Rs 422, respectively.

HDFC Bank, Hindalco and SBI have advanced 2.7% each to Rs 1,344, Rs 172 and Rs 1,668, respectively.

Bharti Airtel, TCS, Satyam and Reliance have moved up over 2.5% each to Rs 826, Rs 857, Rs 408 and Rs 2,403, respectively.

BHEL has slipped over 1% to Rs 1,871.

The market breadth is extremely positive - out of 2,547 stocks traded so far, 2,023 have advanced, 480 have declined and 44 are unchanged.
