Sensex up 35pts; SBI slips 2%

The Sensex is now up 35 points at 10,958.

Reliance Energy has gained nearly 2% at Rs 463. HDFC and Bharti Airtel have moved up 1.7% each to Rs 1,247 and Rs 406, respectively.

Grasim and Tata Steel have added 1.4% each at Rs 2,146 and Rs 517, respectively.

ONGC, Ranbaxy, TCS, Bajaj Auto and Dr.Reddy's are up 1% each.

SBI has dropped nearly 2% to Rs 815. Larsen & Toubro and ITC are down 1% each at Rs 2,250 and Rs 170, respectively.

Out of 2,407 stocks traded so far, 1,247 have declined, 1,084 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
