Sensex up 53pts; ONGC gains over 2%

The Sensex touched a high of 10,951, and is now up 53 points at 10,932.

ONGC has surged 2.2% to Rs 1,218.

TCS and Wipro have advanced 1.4% each to Rs 1,856 and Rs 524, respectively.

Reliance Energy and ITC have gained 1% each at Rs 658 and Rs 176, respectively.

Gujarat Ambuja has slipped 1% to Rs 98.25.

The market breadth is slightly positive. Out of 1,675 stocks traded so far, 850 have advanced, 774 have declined and 51 are unchanged.
