Sensex up 96pts; BHEL surges 2.5%

The Sensex is now up 96 points at 12,205.

There is not a single loser among the index stocks.

BHEL has surged 2.5% to Rs 2,307. HLL and Reliance Communications have advanced nearly 1.5% each to Rs 254 and Rs 350, respectively.

Infosys, Maruti, ONGC, ICICI Bank, SBI, Tata Steel and Gujarat Ambuja are up over 1% each to Rs 1,846, Rs 939, Rs 1,186, Rs 659, Rs 985, Rs 501 and Rs 115, respectively.
