Small sugar eases on good supply

Small sugar prices moved down marginally in an otherwise steady Vashi wholesale market here today due to low retail demand coupled with ample supply position.

Small sugar quality (S-30) edged down by Rs five per quintal to Rs 2,625/2,661 from overnight closing level of Rs 2,630/2,661.

Medium sugar quality (M-30), however closed unaltered at Rs 2,670/2,751 per quintal.
