Small sugar edges down on weak demand

Small sugar prices moved down at the Vashi wholesale market here today on lower offtake from retailers and stockists, amid ample stock positions. 

Meanwhile, medium sugar variety ended stable owing to lack of buying support.  

Small sugar quality (S-30) fell by Rs 10 per quintal to Rs 2,801/2,861 from last weekend's closing level of Rs 2,811/2,861. 

Medium sugar quality (M-30), however closed unchanged at Rs 2,851/2,926 per quintal.

Medium sugar (M-30) quality Rs 2,851/2,926 (Rs 2,851/ 2,926) and Small sugar (S-30) quality Rs 2,801/2,861 (Rs 2,811/2,861)
