Small sugar edges up on mild demand

Small sugar prices edged up at the Vashi wholesale market here today on mild buying from retailers.

Meanwhile, Medium sugar closed steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.  

Small sugar (S-30) quality advanced by Rs 3 per quintal to Rs Rs 2,791/2,831 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 2,788/2,831.

However, medium sugar (M-30) were unaltered at Rs 2,826/2,921 per quintal.
