Steel, iron prices remain quiet in thin trade

Quiet conditions continued to prevail on the wholesale steel and iron market today, as prices after moving in a tight range on sluggish demand settled around previous levels.
Traders said sluggish demand due to slowdown in constructions activity, mainly kept steel prices steady.
Following are today's quotations in Rs per tonne:
