Steel, iron prices remain quiet in thin trade

Quiet conditions persisted on the wholesale steel and iron market today as prices continued to trade in tight range on restricted buying activity and settled around previous levels.

Traders said restricted buying due to subdued demand mainly kept steel prices unaltered.
