Steel prices remain steady on thin trade

Saria rose by Rs 200 per tonne in the wholesale steel and iron market today on fresh buying by stockists and pick up in demand.
Traders said fresh buying by stockists after a rise in demand led to a rise in saria prices.
In the saria section, kamdhenu 8-mm, 10-mm, 12-mm and 16-25 mm were up by Rs 200 each to Rs 40,000, Rs 40,700, Rs 39,400 and Rs 37,250 per tonne, respectively.
