Sugar prices held steady in thin trade

Steady conditions prevailed in the wholesale sugar market today, as prices moved in a narrow range on restricted buying against adequate stocks position.

Market analysts said adequate stocks position against sporadic demand mainly kept wholesale sugar prices steady.

Sugar ready M-30 3,050-3,200 and S-30 3,025-3,175
Mill delivery M-30 2,900-3,050 and S-30 2,890-3,025
