Sugar remains quiet on adequate stocks

Sugar prices ended on a steady note in the national capital today following adequate stocks against sporadic demand. 

Market analysts said besides fresh buying for the ongoing marrige and summer season, heavy ready stocks in the market mainly kept prices around last levels.  

Following were today's quotation in Rs per quintal.

Sugar ready M-30 2,900-3,000 and S-30 2,870-2,990
Mill delivery M-30 2,700-2,890 and S-30 2,675-2,865

Sugar mill gate prices (excluding duty): Kinonni 2,860, Asmoli 2,850, Mawana 2,800, Titabi 2,810, Thanabhavan 2,700, Budhana 2700 and Dorala 2,800
