Upmove continues; Tata Steel gains 4%

The NSE Nifty is up 48 points at 4,208.

BHEL has surged 4.5% to Rs 1,573. Tata Steel has rallied 4% to Rs 622, and HDFC Bank has gained 3.6% at Rs 1,122.

Reliance Communications has moved up 3% to Rs 460. Hindalco and Reliance Infrastructure have added 2.5% each to Rs 146 and Rs 881, respectively.

Grasim has advanced 2% to Rs 1,762. Larsen & Toubro, Wipro and Cipla are up 1.8% each at Rs 2,560, Rs 380 and Rs 231, respectively.

Maruti has plunged 7.5% to Rs 600.

Tata Motors has dropped 2.5% to Rs 409. Bharti Airtel and Jaiprakash Associates have slipped 1.5% each to Rs 787 and Rs 164, respectively.
