US mkts end mixed

US markets finished mixed on Monday. While the Nasdaq, on the back of spurt in tech stocks, moved up 20 points to 2,090, the Dow Jones ended weak at 10,937 - down four points.

Indian floats, too, exhibited a mixed trend yesterday. While Satyam and Wipro ended with marginal gains at $23.95 and $22.26, Infosys finished a tad lower at $77.

HDFC Bank jumped 2.54% to $48.82. While MTNL rose 2% to $7, VSNL was up a per cent at $9.90. ICICI Bank, Dr. Reddy's and Tata Motors ended weak at $21.95, $17.28 and $11, respectively.
