Wall St ends flat; ADRs mixed

The Wall Street ended on a flat note as traders awaited clearance of the $937 billion bank rescue plan, which is scheduled for today. Meanwhile, the $827 billion economic stimulus package faced hurdles in the Senate on Monday.
The Dow Jones industrial average index ended 10 points lower at 8,271. The Nasdaq closed unchanged at 1,592.
The Indian ADRs, however, ended on a mixed note. Sterlite surged 3.5% to $5.64. ICICI Bank rallied 2.8% to $18.16. Infosys, Patni Computers, HDFC Bank, Tata Motors and Tata Communications were up around 1.5% each.
