After 15 years, Serena back in final of Indian Wells

World number one Serena Williams progressed through to her first final of the BNP Paribas Open since 2001 after overcoming third-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska in the women's singles event here.
The American veteran rattled off 11 of the final 12 points to complete a 6-4, 7-6 (7-1) victory over her Poland opponent in the thrilling semi-final contest that lasted for one hour and 35 minutes.
Following the win, Williams said that it seemed to be unbelievable to return to the finals of the event after a span of 15 years.
Williams has now set up a summit showdown against 13th seed Victoria Azarenka, who outclassed Karolina Pliskova of Czech Republic 7 - 6 (1) , 1 - 6 ,6 - 2 for the final-berth.
If Williams manages to clinch this year's Indian Wells title then she will become the first player to earn the hat-trick in the tournament.
