The Vice President M. Hamid Ansari on Friday greeted the people of our country on the joyous occasion of our Independence Day.
"I extend my warm greetings to the people of our country on the joyous occasion of our Independence Day. On this auspicious occasion, we take pride in the achievements of our nation and salute the sacrifices of our valiant freedom fighters," he said.
"This Independence Day let us resolve to strive towards attaining social equality and dignity for every citizen of India," he added.
