Asrar to make Bollywood debut with Katrina's 'Afghan Jalebi'

Asrar, who came to fame in 2014 following his debut at the 'Coke Studio', will now be entering the Hindi film industry with 'Phantom's 'Afghan Jalebi' starring Katrina Kaif.

While the song does not show the 30-year-old Pakistani singer at his vocal best and Amitabh Bhattacharya's lyrics are a far throw from Asrar's witticism, it is yet another example of

Bollywood's appreciation for Pakistani talent, reported the Dawn.

Directed by Kabir Khan, the Indian counter-terrorism drama about post 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai will hit the screens on August 28.
