Beyonce pips Dolly Parton to become most Grammy-nominated woman of all time

Beyonce has become the most Grammy-nominated woman ever with 47 Grammy nominations to her name, it has been revealed.

The 33-year-old singer, who has bagged six nominations for 2015 Grammys, surpassed Dolly Parton's record of 46 nominations, Stuff.co.nz reported.

British singer Sam Smith has bagged six nominations as well.

The 57th Grammys are due to be held in Los Angeles on February 8, 2015.
