Bolt records season's best 9.98 sec to set unofficial world best in indoor 100-metre

Jamaican sprint superstar Usain Bolt set an unofficial world best 100-metre record as he dipped below 10 seconds for the first time this year to record 9.98 seconds in Poland for the indoor race.
It was only the triple Olympic and world champion's second individual 100-metre of the season after a foot injury disrupted his year, The BBC reported.
Bolt made his competitive return at the Commonwealth Games, guiding Jamaica to 4x100-metre relay gold. The world record holder will next compete on Thursday in Zurich.
Bolt, who was running at the Kamila Skolimowska Memorial meeting, will line up against Britons Adam Gemili and James Dasaolu at the Diamond League in Switzerland, the report added.
