Channing Tatum wants to play superhero Gambit in next 'X-Men' film

Channing Tatum has revealed that he wants to play hard-partying superhero Gambit in a new 'X-Men' film.

The 33-year-old actor said that Gambit is his favourite because he is from New Orleans- or around that area, Contactmusic reported.

The Alabama native explained that his desire to play the character is in no way an insult to Taylor Kitsch, who played Gambit in 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
